Aha yeah, I spilled brake fluid everywhere ages ago and it's slowly lifted almost all of the paint off the concrete.
Just ordered a new set of Bilstein b8 shocks and eibach springs since they're on such a good offer on demon tweeks at the moment. See how long it takes the Mrs to find out this time lmao

It is an incredible saving, far cheaper than Bilstein could do them buying direct. Eibach springs where about the same price as buying direct but saves having to pay for two lots of postage

Just go on demon tweeks and search Bilstein with 306 gti6.  £112 each for front b8 and £77.60 each for rears.
Best price Bilstein uk could do direct was £151 each for front struts
So £390 for the fronts with eibach springs, that cheap?
Full set with springs just went on ebay for £150...

Why did i have to break my foot and not work Sad

Eibach springs are £75.38, add vat too but still the cheapest place for brand new at the moment
I keep thinking about getting some B8's for the estate. Whats the difference in the sprint and sport B8's? Apart from the price

Sprint are shorter for running lowering springs iirc

OK cheers, still looking at it it's a lot of money to part with Sad
B8s are shorter than the B6s I thought for lowering?

Just slighter firmer/more agressive with the two types of b8?

I did briefly look at coilovers but for the amount of time it'll actually be on a track it'd be a waste of money, b8s should hopefully be upto the task of fast road and the odd track day

Ramps been broken for a while and no spare time to get around to fixing that or carrying on with the car with all this house moving malarkey and work, but I have been slowly collecting parts in some sort of order to bolt them on ready for the rapidly approaching French car show
