those beam specs are way out :/ if you remove the arb bolts youll find it might have some play in it. I suspect either a worn pin or dying bearings.

Yeah man, these came up for the right price including emerald k6 with a map for standard cams, wiring loom, jenvey 45's, longman inlet manifold, air filter, trumpets and 480 injectors :
Bolt on kit, got a lot of bits I want to do on the car before fitting though:
Beam rebuild
Epas setup
Battery relocation
New suspension
Possible satchshift
Change wiring loom
Fit emerald
Fit jenveys
Devise better air intake
Hopefully be running and ready by fcs next year, possibly even with some new cams and mapping work if funds permit
it will need mapping regardless.
What's your time scale dude? Would love to see this on bodies for the shows next year!!

Hope to have it all together for fcs next year
good video and nice car
Thought it was about time to make a start on getting the 6 ready for spring/summer.
Dragged it out of the corner, up on the ramp and got the beam off ready to fit the rebuilt one I'm collecting off stef tomorrow
Next up I need to do the cambelt, ill order a gates kit and a genuine waterpump through work next week, order some new bilsteins then see about some breathing modifications
What bilsteins you going for ?
The more I drive mine the more I think a good set of shocks and springs would of been the better idea.

Ive been thinking this too :/
Ordering a set of Bilstein b8 from demon tweeks as they're on sale at the moment, £504 for front and rear
If in no rush...check out ebay germany for bilstein
If not...even ebay uk comes in a lot cheaper than 504
Just the postage to worry about with buying from Germany?
I might give Bilstein uk a call as we buy alot of stuff from them direct at work
Nice what springs are you using them with? eibachs?

I find its often free postage from Germany for most bits I buy

Not sure yet, annoying thing about eibach is that they don't really do any springs lower than 30mm where I'm looking to go about 45-50mm

Good to know :p
Ive found the same thing looking into suspension setups. I wouldnt mind getting rid of the avos but the bilsten and eibach combo only really seems good for 30mm :/
thats because any more than 30mm is daft without proper suspension work to make it work properly.
^ I'm sure he's got that covered. Especially given his new line of work [emoji28]
