next on the list is disks and pads all round ready for the mot on Tuesday Smile after that my rear axle will be going on so it wont be so arse end down. then saving for some 16" pro race 1.2 in silver, 4 pots and bilstien b8's and some avo 40mm springs after usc and ready for our nurburg trip that a couple of us around her are talking about
wow....quick turn around...how long did it take in all??

Thats impressive mate...you happy? is the new shell good, it looks it by the few pics Smile

How do you rate the AVO 40mm springs?? I use GTI6 springs due to similar front axle weight, but the front end is too soft so Im looking into other options inc b6/b8 dampers but not sure on springs and dont wana sit low
I'm on 40 mm spacers springs and spa shocks at the moment, but speaking to coling about b8 ( as there 20mm shorter and alot more stiffer ) using a 40 mm 350 lbs spring will lower it around 60mm which is what I want but tbh I haven't driven it yet so I wouldn't no haha

taken roughly 2 days I think, big thanks to Colin and james
sam you call that a reshell??? id say that's just an engine swop Tongue
you want to be hard! get the full works pulled out and put back in, that's everything!
electrics and fuel and running gear! Tongue

So you using coilover springs on a standard type Bilstein damper?!
nice looking replacement sam! tidy base to make it what you want again!

are you stripping your old one bare and scrapping then?

No using lowering springs dude I'mselling the coilovers, using avo lowering springs and bilstien dampers

Cheers dude, kind of stripping my bits off it and then Colins selling the rest as that's the deal we both agreed on
Glad it went well, looks good bud, i have been following on fb :p
Smile cheers dude Big Grin
Looks real nice man.

Out of curiosity, is it a darker shade of astor than your other one? I know it's Peugeots favourite thing to do with paint, there's 2 shades of black ffs lmao
Yeah it is chap my other one is quite a bit lighter Smile

get all swopped over Tongue id have said get the loom swopped over, but then again, 306s are all the same aren't they, So I will let you off on this for now!
Haha well picking them up tomorrow so hopefully it'll be alot better looking soon Smile and true about the looms haha
Mini update popped into work today to replace disks and pads all round as they barley needed doing! Got a tad confused as on the last mot the front disks were advised, which was seen quite clearly, the thing that confused me was the owner before brett put brand new pads on very very f***** disks :/ anyway I order mtec grooved disks and minter pads all round Smile mot time tomorrow and then pick up all my coilovers, solid mounts etc and on Thursday to fit them all Smile pictures tomorrow!
Good progress mate. Hope youre happy with it after all your hard work.
