2.2 Dimma Hdi
The car is getting there now, not sure if it's gonna be ready to get motd in time though, all depends how well I get on tomorrow.

First thing I sorted today was driveshafts, got a pair of 406 and used from the inner bearings back. Few pics to show the difference between my shafts and the 406 ones. The 406 shafts are slightly longer, have larger cvs and the shaft itself is thicker.

Got the charge cooler in, engine rad, charge cooler rad, oil cooler, slam panel on and headlights in. One headlight is wired up but I need to sort a side light holder for the other one as the headlights only had one and phase2/3 ones don't fit.

I have misplaced the water hose going from the expansion bottle to the stat housing so have to look for that or sort out a tempory hose.

Tomorrow is a case of getting the driveshafts in, and front brakes on, fill up all the fluids and put the bumper and trims on etc, hoping by tomorrow night I can have it ready for mot Saturday morning.

I haven't driven it yet as I had work, but taking it out today.

I'm going to run it in first then I need to look at getting it setup, anyone have an idea what sort of boost pressure is gonna be good to run? I was thinking around 24psi?
Reply
Thanks given by:
Depends what sort of power you want to make, you can make alot of power with not alot of boost with the right mapping.

I want decent power, but at the same time don't want to be destroying turbos every 5 mins as it gets expensive lol

Would like about 220 which is what is supsodly was, I'm not convinced the vnt control is working correctly at the moment either
