Ouch.. That's poor, doesn't sound right at all!

On the first run when it made 125.2 I spat flames through the exhaust and then the guy told us that I had a fuel pump timing problem so we sorted that out and turned down the max fuel abit and put it on for the second time and got 120.5 with f*ck loads of coal.

Result of the day?

DAVID says............ I'm pretty pissed off lol

not to mention your ruined hub, ive never seen a wheel move so much haha
sure turbo isnt shagged?
I can't remember what they said I need to sort it out now :/
and i do wander about the accuracy of their dyno readings too, they didnt calibrate the rollers for each car or any other preparation like that that they ought to.

speaking to one of my dads rally driver mates about ray wests, he took his mk2 escort down there and put it on the rollers, first run it hit 190 odd hp, then tweaked the carbs slightly and got a reading of over 300bhp. so yeah. a bit suspect

Na turbo still boosts fine up to over 30psi if I put my foot flat and don't sound poo'd
Equally! Mine popped of boost pipe at the back of the gauge. Didn't have time to fix it so didn't get a proper run... Pretty annoyed about it as I was looking forward to seeing what it was actually doing.
way i see it is if you have no boost leaks, decent fuel tune and compression it should be more! i know people running lucas and T2 making more than that lol
And the guy made me laugh when he said their was a problem with my exhaust!

Oh. And I got 135bhp and 230lbft

My point exactly! I had a good hour prep before I went on the dyno so I could make sure all the fmic pipes was as tight as possible, I have no boost leaks at all.
hmmmm may sound stupid but was exhaust manifold tight?
To the turbo?
to the turbo and to the back of your block

although saying that whats your boost gauge saying its running?
Got a slight exhaust leak on the adaptor plate but I normally take the turbo up to 25ish psi but I can go over 30+psi easy
and you said its coaling alot?
On the second time yeah. We pushed the pump back slightly to change the timing and turned the max fuel down aswell, took it for a test drive after and it felt loads better but the dyno said its lost 5hp
hmmmm did it look a smoother line on the graph instead of up and down?

still dont get how your only making 120 at 25psi and a bosch Confused checked injectors??

Looks like they just let off the accelerator to early to me, power is climbing well and then just stops at 3300rpm?! Your car will have power up to at least 4.5k...
Samass said the injectors was fine

Do sca have a dyno?

Changed it when the td04 went on which was the weekend of the Christmas meet

Would it be worth having a quite look at the set up then taking it down there?
Did you see my reply about not revving it far enough? Im sure that will be the problem, nothing else adds up.
Yeah just seen your pm aswell mate

to be fair now you mention it doesnt look like it went over 4k on the bottom of graph :/
I think that's mostly the problem here :/
ring them up and say to them you think they messed up on dyno? gotta remember if 4k is your red line on clock and they dont know you have an extra 1k+ rpm in there then maybe they let off looking at gauge?
