Evenings and weekends I do online ordering apps and web type stuff for caterers in the main but expanding the offer quite soon

Which market?

I'm currently a delivery driver for a luxury fashion retailer as part of their Premier team. Basically drive a van within the M25 all day taking very expensive stuff to very nice places for rich people. Today for example, despite the tube strike, I was sitting in a park eating donuts waiting for the time slot to open so I could do my first job, pretty happy with that.

Still working out what I want to do properly though.

Strutton Ground, between Scotland Yard & Channel 4
Mechanic in the 90's
Chef in the noughties
Now just pissing about with catering

Some are fairly expensive, most aren't (in the grand scheme of things). I only do it about 60% of the time but looking at about 45k miles this year. Yawn. Its for a fairly well-known local car tuning company.

Kind of miss being my own boss and doing the vinyl work though Sad

However my bucket list of driven cars (mostly about 100 yards lol) is getting there. LFA, F40, Z28 2014, Veyron, 458 speciale etc etc Big Grin

Do you know a guy called Ross Lathey who works for said company, if it's the one I'm thinking of?

The same. He gets about a bit..

Haha, thought so - small world!

At the moment I'm a team manager in a customer service call centre, managing a team of 12 agents.

In the past I've been a mechanic, worked behind bars and managed pubs, been a plasterer, a brickies labourer, a door supervisor, a school caretaker, and a few other things.

I also coach a rugby league team at under 16s level on a voluntary basis, having spent years playing the game.

Currently a engine calibration engineer at MG. Will be returning to the University of Birmingham to get my MEng in Mechanical Engineering (automotive) with industrial studies (longest degree title ever!) in September though.

Not bad for a poor kid from Cornwall! Glad I got in before the fees tripled and they took away the grants though!
