Hey all. I have fitted my new headunit using the provided headunit cage and then went to try and fit the surround that I bought as an adapter from eBay. I can't get it to clip on anywhere. In fact I see no clips on the surround and have no idea how I am supposed to get it to stay on :S
Also when I fit the surround I can't get the pioneer surround part to fit either so I can see all the cage anyway. Its a total mess haha.
Any suggestions on how to do a neat job of this as it is really getting on my nerves how crap it looks lol.
Thanks, Jack

That's about as good as it gets tbh, aftermarket stereos don't fit properly with the surround, always annoyed me as well lol.

The cage is supposed to hold it in but most aftermarket ones don't. I just used double sided tape to stick mine in

Ahh I see. Yeahh my cage fits nice and snug. The actual adapter part from eBay doesn't seem to have anywhere for the cage to even hold it anyway. Its a terrible design haha. And tbf it barely fits correctly or fills up the gapes around the headunit anyway. If I wanted to put the facia on I would have to remove the pioneer surround and show all the front lip of the cage :S its rubbish lol.

Yeah I was gonna say, you put the adaptor in the space, then put the cage through the adaptor and then the dash
