I need new hubs as the bolt holes in mine have no thread left. Do I need specific ones to the engine / driveshafts or will any work?
Probably a daft question but need to get the car fixed and sold and don't want to be ordering some that won't fit

You'll need to check what size the ball joints are. I know 18mm only come on certain models but yours may of been messed with.

Phase 3 will almost certainly be 18mm bjs. But apart from that, any hub should fit from a 1.8+. The 1.4/1.6 may be different though, not sure on that.

There is, I'm yet to see a ph3 with 16mm BJs lol. Though there is obviously the chance that a previous owner has replaced with an older 16mm hub.
