Swapped my golf for this and so far really liking it, it's not a bmw I know but it's good on fuel.
It's a 1.9 D Turbo.
What I've done
- Added dirt

Treated it to smoked indicators so swapped them over [emoji14]

Waiting to get the front springs on & it's getting lowered on Friday.

Ford fitment wheels will fit, but you'll need spigot rings to do so. Cant remember the exact dimensions off the top of my head, but im sure someone will be along shortly to put me straight!
As for smoked rear lights...they dont look smoked to me, unless you mean the bottom section, which is "smoked" as standard.
Looks like a good base to start from though, keep us up to date!

Goodbase. Those rear lights arent smoked though...well not as far as I can see.

Ford wheels do fit...need 20mm (iirc) Spacers and a centre bore adapter...or all in one adapter.

You can get chromed side indicator bulbs which will stop the side repeaters looking like eggs

You'll be amazed at how much cheaper everything is but surprised at how often you have to keep doing the same jobs. That's how I find it between my mk3 Golf and my 306 anyway.

Purely by chance, I bought it for my old golf but never got round to fitting.

Lolben is referring to chromed bulbs, they match the "smoked"colour of the side repeaters so they don't stand out so badly as when you put normal orange bulbs in.

Theres loads of wheels out there you just have to get abit creative and remember ford wheels are same pattern just usually require 20mm spacers
