Probably not as quick as a gti, aye Ginge

I dunno... That was its first proper drive, I wasn't boooting it as such..
It does well low down, but past "70/80" it's puffless

Yeah, I can't really compare it to driving the gti.... It's so different.

I'm sure it's not that different from a rallye due to it being the same spec and all... The gti has got too much weight.

This weekend me and vlj went up to see samass and niall, well, i say niall, he stood around looking tall and cut himself, thats all i can say about him. Had a hand at the go-nad, clocked the gt15, looked at it's plans (wow!) and lol'd at making use of rust holes for front mount piping.

Gave him a good clean. Inside and out. Had a load of upholstery wipes and ended up with them filthy!

Also, had a fright earlier when the bonnet decides to half fly open on the motorway as I was powering through 5th gear



Doesn't look much but damn was it scary!!

Next on the shopping list, a front grill! and some bonnet pins, i can't be watching my bonnet flap around any longer.

Thats typical of alot of the serial 306 owners here; has boost, wants bwaps, gets bwaps, wants boost back.

Glad to see shes making you happy ginge, you just need to MTDi 16v it now.

Small update.

Car's still running fine!

I got hold of a load of wiring as the wiring i had in the car was small, poxy and well pretty naff.

So i now have a relay wired up to my fans on a manual switch and the same with my glowplugs. and it actually looks relatively tidy. removed the 2nd fan which was kaputt so i guess that's -3kg /dumdum
