		smash the grille mate. the tab snapped on my old astra G cabby, smashed the grille and a bit of force on the cable got it open. do you have any idea where your cable has snapped?

		Erm... Thread revival, because im bored lol... Well cause im such an awesome mechanic(read theif...) I managed to get the bonnet open about 2minutes before I was gonna do as you said popeye lol turns out it hadn't snapped, just the end worked its way off the lever and touch wood *gigidy* its stayed on since. Well I haven't had any calls saying its stopped working again
