I can imagine the light steering and that but im supprised at the slowness as the 1.6HDi is a good engine and theyer really light for a modern car (lighter than a 6)
They made two 1.6E-HDi's though.... an 92bhp non turbo and a 112bhp turbo model, I can imagine the non turbo to not be the nippiest.
Also although we all hate the bonnet on it... it would be very easy to smooth off
