That looks pretty damn awesome.
WTF, peugeot in 2012 made a car that looks good again, thats a first! A step in the right direction thats for sure...but i bet it dosnt blow coal Sad
As said. First car since the 306 that its slightly appealing!
I actually quite liked the 207 gti Big Grin

but on this note, i like the new 208, and this is just porn Inlove
I have an erection.

That is f*cking beautiful!
that is eye candy
That is pure pornograpy.
What a beaut'
Need... Tissues! B-e-a-utiful.
mmmm gorgeous!
Wow, they managed to make the 208 look good...that must have required some serious black-magic fuckery!
Looks great, Love the rear arches.
Looks pretty awesome
That is stunning but youll never get a standard 208 looking like that cos theyer just not lookers.

That said having seen the 208 prices recently if they release the wide arch version to the public with a diesel engine ill certainly be looking for a test drive, maybe more.
I test drove a standard 208 a little while back (1.6 HDi I believe?) and it really wasn't particularly nice to drive...way too light on the steering, it felt like it wasn't connected! Rolled around everywhere and was stupidly slow. I'm going to test the GTi though at some point Smile

I can imagine the light steering and that but im supprised at the slowness as the 1.6HDi is a good engine and theyer really light for a modern car (lighter than a 6)

They made two 1.6E-HDi's though.... an 92bhp non turbo and a 112bhp turbo model, I can imagine the non turbo to not be the nippiest.

Also although we all hate the bonnet on it... it would be very easy to smooth off Tongue

BTW 208 GTI is now available

along with a special edition which they are only releasing 25 of in the UK market.

I hate you !! lol

I do like it... would need some tweaking but I do like, video and pics of it maybe? Smile
lol Just rock up to your local dealership and ask for a test drive? I did it for the RCZ. My mum was looking for a new car and didn't have her license with her, so I gave them mine and they gave us a set of keys and said just to come back in 20 minutes! I was actually really impressed, Audi and VW had been shit with letting my mum go for test drives, so when they just gave us the keys and left us to it it was quite refreshing Smile

Funny you should say that I was just pissing around with the RCZ car configurator, and i was amazed with the customisation options style wise.. what did you think to it?

I actually really really like that!

If they did the gti with the flared wheel arches I would sell my grandma immediately!

Think it's getting the 2 litre turbo petrol engine in it.. Which I think is 200bhp

Nope the 1.6HDi in the 208 is 158bhp and 1080kg. Its actually a better power to weight ratio than a GTi6

Seconded.
I'm not sure where you found that mate, the 1.6 HDi is 110bhp according to every review I've seen
Peugeot website mate, standby and ill get a screenshot.

EDIT: Dum-Dum fail! I was reading the specs for the THP lump FLOL

TBH the 1.6 HDi is pretty tuneable so still a good option.
Lol I thought you were!

I think having just driven the RCZ it probably wasn't best to go and drive the 208, it might have been better if I'd just driven that out of the bat.

Kyle I'll post my thoughts on the RCZ a little later Smile
