		yes but with an engine you cant drive it on the road !
anyway here is a loose plan of action
for the drive i have a motor driven trans axle with built in diff
which I'm going to graft onto the existing axle
via 2 sets of chain and sprockets and the original kart axle is going to be cut and joined with a double bearing allowing the axle to turn sharper without skidding the tyres allowing the diff to work

yes it just fits in the estate had to take the rear wheels off but it went in

dont you guys like a challenge?
going electric most if not all the mounts will have to be fabricated which means thinking and planning your route 
i dont want to go down the ovious route but if the electric  falls over i have that option too but its not one im planning on taking just yet !
