So. Whos been a pikey with mods before. Ive got a set of clones sitting here in not great condition a can of paint on hammerite smooth and a brush. You can see where this is going...........
Anyonw else done sonething similar??

Just off the top of my head what dum dum has done:
Used a kitchen sieve as a air filter
cable tied a grill on
attempted to make his own set of ITBs using some silicone hoses
fitted an engine where the turbo hits the steering UJ and locks the steering on boost
And plenty more

Anyway in answer to the OPs question hammerite will be fine on wheels, I'd use spray but brush on will give a good enough finish if your not looking for show car quality. I wouldn't consider it pikey though as it is a brilliant paint for wheels (and brakes and engines and pretty much anything else.

That air filter in the pic was clogged and f*cked.
Made a world of difference with the wire.
I sacked off all of that later on and ran defiltered

Do it with spray cans not a brush... itll be a nightmare and the spray hammerite isnt too expensive and gives a decent finish!

Had to use a bit of wire to hold my exhaust up when it snapped on the motorway, got some funny looks driving down to the next junction(my turn off anyway and only 1/2 mile) with sparks flying out the back. As soon as it went i knew what it was so just carried on the har shoulder at 60. Strapped it up to the beam and removed the back box, only left it like that for a few days.
