I'm doing this, there is a leaf pattern half leather seat sat next to a buggered office chair in my workshop I'll get around to it, pic of underneath so I can see how you have done it please (although I think I know how)

If i made one i'd keep the air bags in the seats and wire it up to a button.. defense mechanism FTW!

Heh ive made a few of these,

Mark, just weld to bars across the runners the right width apart to take whatever base, then bolt the base on

If you do that, then you can still slide it on the runners to get the point of balance correct

Yeah thats what I was planning, or removing the runners and direct bolting but I like your thinking with leaving the runners on
