No, I have no job. So only limited money. And limited time with me and kris being away.

A td04 is heaps better than a t25... I know lots of people use them but they do work well...

Just finished the undersealing of the car. But left my car at kris's, so will just help around the place now.

If you're set on a big wastegate turbo, have you looked at the new Garrett GTXs or BorgWarner EFRs?

I can't really afford a better turbo at the moment. Need to sort out this swap over and see if I can stop the coolant from pressurising before I spend out on forged internals, better turbo or two.

Tinted rear windows have arrived, only a week and a half after I got them.

Will get these swapped over this weekend, along with hopefully the tailgate, rear axle, rear bumper, and other bits.

Still can't find a 3 door phase 3 in a portsmouth scrap yard so I can get the bump strips off them.

Bit of a slow day as kris had a busy and late night last night working on someone's car.

More tomorrow. Interior loom, dash more de-vinyling.

So today we finished off the fuel tank, but noticed the connectors are different. So now we need to remove the interior loom and fit it to the new shell. So set about removing the old carpet.

[Image: DB8E99EB-D8BA-4AFB-B897-FFEB9D1B9636-340...7b0b7c.jpg]

Then some more de-vinyling of the old car.

[Image: E90D53DB-3F74-4678-A168-5280CFE5385A-340...aa8e16.jpg]

Then started removing the front end.

Next up looms and dash. Then see what condition the engine and turbo is in. The subframe and lower engine looked very very oily. Sad

Yea sorry I am reusing all the smoothed bits. Apart from the wings and doors which I would love to sell. They need a good home.

So since I got my wings from Carlos on Monday and more white clips to attach the exterior trim, I thought I would go up and drop off some bits.

So was there for about an hour, dropped off the parts, loaded up the bits I left there last weekend. Then set about fitting the trim, then started stripping down the wipers, so I could unbolt the dash.

Forgot to get a finished pic, but dash is basically out.

Tomorrow dropping off the last of the flocking ie dial surround, drivers vent and steering column surround.

Right dropped off the last of the bits to be flocked today.

Have been looking at different alloys, Superleggra's, Pro Race 1.2 or 3, I did want something a little different, and have found a number of superlite and minilite in different size's, both in 15' and 16' wheel size I will see if I get this new job on Tuesday.

Any thoughts on wheels?

Also I thinking I am going to have to change my turbo or maybe the whole engine due to the amount of oil that I saw on the bottom of the engine, I am tempted by the tdo4 that CJ has, but I could easily change over to a gt2256 if I could find one that's not VNT, as my plates should swap over from the t25.

Again see how the job interview goes on Tuesday.

To be honest if you liked your t25 you should be fairly happy with a td04. I like the borbets, or does kris want those so your looking at something else? haha
Doesnt even own a 306.

Right since I have got a new job now I can afford a bit of a spending spree.
It does not pay as much as I would like but a jobs a job. I was pricing up the forged internals but at £600-£700 it would put a big dent in the saved money I have for a rainy day

In any case I have a Td04 winging its way to me, I would still prefer a gt2256s, but can't seem to find one.
Also have a set of hdi con rods on the way so going to swap them over and see how long it lasts with a td04 blowing through it.
Also haves battery relocation kit, which I might or might not use yet.

Still looking for some different alloys and tomorrow will pick up the last of the flocking, then really need to get working on the build again.
