Fitted a k14 to my dturbo today, as the gt15 went
All went smoothly, new gasket and all, but it is very slow to boost, like well over 3k in 2nd before its hitting over 12psi
It has a mbc fitted, and turbo came off my last engine, which was took out just over a month ago, it boosted 100% when on that engine, and turn'd ok by hand
One thing I have noticed is it apears to be drawing a vacum, never seen any of my dturbo do it before
Anyone any idea's, I'm thinking something on the intake pipe, maybe its crused before it goes onto the turbo, but tbh I'm stumbed

What pipe have you got on the inlet of the turbo?
There's something probably restricting the inlet side.

If your drawing a vacuum something is stopping air getting into the engine, Sounds like something to do with your inlet/air filter deal.
Doesnt even own a 306.

I just have the plastic pipe that runs along the back of the engine, no filter on it
I do still think its air, cos the turbo is whistling abit on tickover
Boost comp pipe is back on, forgot it the first time I took it down the road, have had a chance to get a look at it today yet
Cheers for the advice
