its not even antilag, its just on idle. must be injecting fuel into the exhaust or something lol

Doubt it, would just smoke like hell then. Diesel doesn't set on fire like petrol does.

My money's on f*cked timing, maybe a slipped belt, and the exhaust valves are opening just as combustion starts.

Well no, not it's not. That was established a long time ago. If it was anti lag it would have killed the turbo in the space of that video. Anti lag's not exactly designed to be run like that!

That's just high EGTs and a restrictive exhaust causing the soot in the exhaust to ignite - The videos are the engine causing that, and it's f*cked injection timing!
