I do kinda agree with swampy.

But then again poodles right, I tend to panic when stuff does go wrong and get a complete mind blank hence having to ask on here.

Breaking the golf has actually worked brilliantly, doesn't really matter if I break stuff so I've got a bit more confidence to fiddle with things and find out exactly how everything goes together and works, and I'm actually finding it really interesting, yeah I know I'm a sad bastard lol.


Anyway, still not sure what to so really!

1. Buy plus gas
2. Soak the shit out of the nipples/pipes in said plusgas
3. Twat a torx bit into the hole in the nipple
4. Use a socket and a t-piece to take the nipple off
5. Replace nipple
6. Use brake pipe spanner to undo brake line
7. Put new brake line on
8. Top up brake fluid
9. Bleed brakes
10. Yeah.. that's it

That's not quite what I meant lol.

Was just thinking its a little pointless replacing pipes and nipples on the standard 266 bottle tops.....I know Sam has gti pads and discs in his shed.... If I could get some gti calipers fairly cheaply.....I already have the new hoses, and some pads and discs....
