Breaking: Black GTi-6
#1
Hey guys, as some of you will have seen, I bought Vaughan's GTi-6 and am now breaking it. I think I've covered most of it. If there are any bits I've left out, please ask and I'll let you know if I still have it. Photos are available on request.

All prices are collected

Bits that have been sold
Headlights
Brakes all around
Gearbox & driveshafts
Suspension struts & springs
Steering wheel & boss
Clocks
Engine
Strut brace
Exhaust
Side/Rubstrips
Bonnet
Sparco Sprint bucket seats
Sparco side mount
Cobra subframe x1 (unused)
TRS harness

Sold pending payment
Cyclones with Proxes T1-R, fronts have good tread, rears do too but there is some wear on the shoulder of each of the wheels - £100
Phase 3 boot - £35
Grille & hockey sticks - £20

This leaves us with the following:
Exterior
Front bumper - £50
Rear bumper, a couple of scuffs in the paint but no cracks or major damage - £20
Rear lights - £10 each

Engine related
Bare Inlet Manifold - £35
Fuel rail x 2 - £10 each
GTi-6 exhaust manifold - £20
Cone filter - £5
Nearly new battery from a DTurbo - £35

Suspension
Hubs - Unsure if 16mm or 18mm, will confirm - £15 a side

Then the standard interior bits
Fascia - £10
Rallye door cards - £40

Lol okay dude Smile

That's cool Curt, you'll likely just want that on its own then?

Edit: Sorry Curt, forgot to mention that if someone is interested in buying the whole interior then that will make life easier for me. On the flip side it might work out better for a potential buyer to get a matching OMP base for the passenger side and save on buying the Cobra one?

Edit 2: Cheers Fozzy, hadn't actually seen your post first time around!

Yeah I would have thought so mate, I definitely want matching ones and have decided on the Cobra ones . If someone is interested in the lot then obviously I understand though Smile

For sure mate. I'm not sure if I mentioned but it's not including the spoiler? I'm not too keen on posting things like panels to be honest. Don't suppose you're up London way at all? If not then might be able to work out for one of the Bournemouth lads to courier it back down their way (unless I go down there in the near future) so it's a shorter journey for you to pick up, unless you're happy to arrange a courier?

I'll take some photos and send them over to you tomorrow/Thursday if that's okay, wouldn't want you to be unhappy with it once you get it.

That's cool Curt Smile As I said, if a buyer wants to save a bit of money and get a matching OMP base then I'll keep you down for the Cobra one Smile

That's not a problem mate as the spoiler on mine can go on there, as for posting it that's understandable if you could get it down to bournemouth/portsmouth that'd be ideal and save me some trouble
pictures would be great got any of the clones too?

I'll add photos of the clones to the list Smile

I'm regularly down in Portsmouth way anyway (well, Chichester/Bognor to be precise) but I'd be happy to meet you there with the boot in a couple of weekends time if you decide you do want it.

I'm based in waterlooville (2mins north of Portsmouth) and will hopefully be heading up to Scotts on the 15th. If that's of any help?

The rebuilt beam is no longer available unfortunately.

The fog light hids are available yes, they'll be extra on top of the fogs though. No idea what they're worth to be honest.

Too late again Sad

What phase is it? I need the cover that goes over the courtesy light/IR reciever.

Also, a micro-switch from the door shut.

Thanks.

I think everyone was too late on that one mate, it got nicked!

It's a phase 2 Smile I still need to check the beam mate, it did feel okay driving it to be honest. I'll take a proper look tonight, but if it's all okay and you have it I'll chuck in the interior lighting cover and the door switch.

Don't suppose you're at Ace on Monday? You can have them for a cup of tea if you don't want the beam Smile

Ok, I hope it's all good, nightmare getting a beam so far lol If it is all ok, how much are you thinking for it?

I won't be at Ace, I work Monday nights which is shit as I always want to go.

This is the cover I'm looking for, hopefully it's the same one:

No worries on Ace Smile I'll sort it out with you PM, but I've not had a chance to get under the car today unfortunately. I took a few photos of the interior to the person who requested photos will receive some at some point this evening in a PM.

Sean I'll PM you about the HIDs Smile
