We had no luck with heat treated, pulled thread wheel studs when inserting in that hole in the middle, it pulled the threads in the end.

I think we ended up doing as maz-306-xs did and removing the swinging arm, resulted in as Ruan mentioned "on the floor"..... lol....

The only *easy* way to do it is to use a hydraulic bearing puller, that's the only way I removed mine, but you can only get them out of one side doing it like that, so you have only 3 options, OEM, 10mm lower or on the floor... Heat and hammers are the only way... Slide hammers you may as well not even bother with, every time I just break the slide hammer...

+1 on the slide hanmers ruan they are full of fail when it comes to 306 torsion bars. Socket and bolt is the only way iv ever managed to get them out
