Where would you get a rear hub from? I'm torn between an eBay one for £35 or an Orbis one from ECP for £62 after their current discount.

Continental ones are fairly cheap, got one for around £30 on ebay a few month ago.

Can't find anything that I'd consider a good brand. Might go cheap and accept that it won't last forever

I wouldn't go cheap on such an important part!
The continental one has been on my car for the last 15k with no issues or funny noises.
Are you on about the full hub assembly or just the wheel bearing?

I don't think the bearing is replaceable on its on as Stef says so I'm getting the whole hub. The only good ones I've found at the moment are £130 for genuine or £115 for SNR, and I'm a bit reluctant to spend that much at the moment

the last premier branded bearing I fitted to a pug from a motorfactor was an SNR item, ime as close as you can get to oem.

firstline have also been snr on the drum bearings I did on a pug last too.

Got a couple more quotes today. A busseys Peugeot dealer sells a 'Euro repar' hub for £82. This comes with the same warranty as a genuine Peugeot one. Apparently it's a good European brand but only just coming to UK. Anyone know anything about them? Google doesn't bring up any parts reviews, but the guy from Peugeot said it could well be a genuine part in the box.

Its a Peugeot own brand, in Europe they've been used for older dealer vehicle servicing and repairs for years, where the former PSA brand Motaquip was used in the UK.

OK cheers, sounds like I made the right choice then. Does seem odd having to pay far more to change a rear bearing than a front, but hey ho
