205 drive shafts
#1
So the CV boots (both inner and outer) have gone on my 205 diesel
i dunno how long they have been split cos its a new car so i dont think just replacing the boots is good enough....

I'm not sure what to replace it with tho....

Does anyone have anything lying about or any suggestions where to get a new-ish driveshaft?

Pull the shafts from the hubs and check the joints for smooth operation, rotate them around in a full circle etc. If they're smooth just pack them full of grease and replace the boots, if they're rough then replace them.

I got a pair of driveshafts from these people on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PEUGEOT-205-1-...wTZ8dnRK3g

I haven't had any issue with them and they seem a decent price. Duno if any other people have had much dealings with them.
