how much is a trailer test these days? Also need to do one really :/

Got mine for £350 with a local chap and using my own truck

sounds like a good price. Just for the test with no lessons? My mate had a few lessons before doing his test.

1, how about knocking up a mounting plate for the reg big enough to hide the washer bottle.
2, can you shed more on cb? like a good starter rig to begin with.

1, The washer bottle is now too exposed on the front end, if i knock it off roading its gonna be hassle so its better to just relocate it.
2, Certainly! I use a popular & decent Midland 98 unit & mic and a roof mounted 3ft springer aerial. Hasnt got much range on it but it does what i need it too

Yes i have had several 306's with a mag mount aerial up top and cb mounted either in the cubby hole or screwed to the side of the center console
