there are two listed under my chassis on service box

post edited. i have both boxs how hard is it to put the valeo one in my ac model one

Servicebox isn't failsafe. This is one area where it really is that simple, not like trying to identify ball joints lol.

You'd need to pull the whole dash out to change the box where you can get away just pulling it forward a bit for the matrix, and change the heater dials and possibly loom on the box. Its a lot of hassle for no real gain that I can see?

I have a valeo box in with a free heyer matrix that was only done just before i got it

Ah ok, makes sense. It would be more effort, but cheaper if you don't have to buy another matrix.

you need to cut the hole in the scuttle panel, use the non ac control panel, non ac heater control wiring.

remove ac pipes and block hole in bulkhead.


i think all that work is worth far more than the difference between ac and non ac matrixes.

Hmm we will have to see. Id rather not cause myself extra work atm but im running short of funds untill payday. Ive got a few jobs on this week though that should help out. Ill see if the motorfactors can send up both valeo and behr so i can compare and see if the valeo one will fit as its £30 cheaper
