tig welder advise
#1
Hi all,

Im in the market for buying a tig but knowing what to buy. Is there anyone on here that knows there stuff im cued up with migs but tig is a new world for me and its been a few years since using on.
It will need to be ac/dc and must have the pulse function. Ill be using it for general fabrication and exhausts etc etc. Im not looking for anything cheap where ill have zero comeback should something happen.

I have found this welder but would like to know if its up to the job

The rtech tig welders are very good, I've got a 200 amp and there's an identical one I use at one of my clients workshops. Really nice and simple to set up and they're based in Gloucester so decent customer service when you need to restock or replace anything.

Don't really think much of their migs but the tig machines are spot on for 99% of work I've used it for
