today i went about swapping my steering wheel and airbag for another exactly the same, 3 spoke leather in a gti. i disconnected the battery and left for over 30 mins, then went about replacing the old unit. got the new wheel and airbag on, reconnected battery to check everything was okay, turned ignition on, all was good, i then went on to putting the plastic cowling back on, i then started the car up again to move it off the drive and now the airbag light starts to flash. can someone please tell me where ive gone wrong, or what is causing the airbag light to flash. cheers
