Reprogramming car keys

Hi guys, my dad unknowingly disconnected the battery from his 406 53 plate and since doing this he is getting an anti theft system faulty, after a bit of reading I understand that I need to reprogram the car keys, now I do have access to pp2000 but I've heard I need a key code card from peugeot, could anyone confirm this for me as I just want to make sure I'm doing right,

Yes you will need the code to do it. You can get codes from peugeotcodes.com for a lot cheaper.
