Being ripped off

Im not saying I have yet because the gentleman in question ive given limited time to me before I take action to get money back. I jumped on the chance .at a pump and basically never recived even a tracking number. I paid bank transfer stupidly as well. Any way aside from my stupidity I want to stop people getting ripped off.

Anyone have suggestions in getting money back?

Anyone had anymore bad experiences?

I will keep this update with whats happening with my current situation as well. Just to deter people from paying bank transfer.

Fooby has been notified and they have kindly locked the thread for me already. And yes it was a meber on here. Which is a shame as most the guys on here seem great specially the ones ive spoken to and met. Shame one person spoils it for the rest really.

Bank transfer like a nonce. I usually pay everything paypal but I had a pump that was genuinely lost by courier before this and I thought sod it. Shouldnt have done but we all make mistakes. Ps the one that got lost is being refunded the courier company have admitted liability for that one. Wasnt even bought on here either

So do I pal. Ill see how he wants to play it tomorrow evening. He got messaged via facebook in the end as he was ignoring me. Ive gave him 24 hours to refund me or give me proof of postage.

My bad should read! Bank transfer is never good unless you know and trust the guy your sending the money to.

As said, I would always avoid paying by bank transfer unless you know the seller very well, even then I'd be a bit cautious in doing so. We are well aware of the user and the situation, and we are in the process of trying to get it sorted.

As for getting your money back...I'm afraid that unless the user in question refunds you off his own back, you pretty much won't have a leg to stand on, which is why PayPal is so highly recommended for making payment over the Internet.

Well, you do, you either go through small claims court or try the Money Claim Online government service...

I'll have a look at the money claim service to. He keeps saying it is his "friend" and yet fails to give me his details.

Right its been 24 hours since I contacted him and he is still yet to tell me who his "friend" is and not givin me a nimber yet. I will have to take action soon but im unsure how to go about getting the ball running. Im not being messed over
I dont even cate if I have to pay small claims fee as I get it back when he looses off him.

Right I need an adress for.this arsehole to take him to.snall claims which I will find somewhere. Ive scoured the for info and thankfully his a very open person online and uses the same username on everything!! Then puts his personal details in which is a great help. His defiantly stitched me over now so imma fight this till the end

Also just found out I can get his address from car reg if I have reasonable cause. Ie payment for services not received and his profile PIC is his car with his reg. Also just in case his reading this as I type with intention of finally changing setting to private in took it down before he can stop me

No disagrement there. Like ive said in previous comments I was pissed off at the fact a courier had lost my previous pump and usually wouldnt do stuff like this. Just had a sorta f*ck it moment
