I'm jealous man. Wish I could have one of these, look nice, nice to sit in, have 5 doors (keeps the Mrs happy) and decent to insure. Could get 2 different 1.8T Cupra's for what a decent Diesel one costs!!!

Only costing 250 more to insure over the mondeo. It really is nice. Comfy when pottling around town and will do 35mpg but when you wanna have some fun it certainly shifts!

Okay so i lost a lot of love for this car, but its slowly winning me back!

Ive got a large shopping list for the next 7 monthsish! (a car is never 'finished' Wink )

So far ive fitted, 25mm rear spacers, JR cone filter, Jabbasport heatshield, decat, ive debadged 'leon' and replaced all the 'R's'

Fitted grooved and slotted rear disks with mintex pads. The old ones were way past dead!

Also fitted the w8 interior light and sprayed it back.

The following is a random selection of images from over the last 5000 miles!

It's booked in for January. Taking it to the best guy in UK for mapping. Which conveniently for me is only an hour away.

Got a rolling road day on the 19th so will see how it does!

Aiming for 240bhp as it is

Its been a while!

Firstly, i rolled 255bhp and 255lb/ft at the rolling road day! Very happy considering she hasnt been mapped yet!

So recently Ive treated myself!

Got a 25mm neuspeed front arb and matching 28mm rear arb.

Ive also bought myself new track rod ends, ball joints and drop links. To go along with the new powerflex wishbone bushes.

Oh. And new disks! Forking hell they're huge!!!

This week i will be dropping the subframe to fit everything and to give a paint and freshen up. I expect I'll also be fitting the rear arb. Saving the new disks until I have my new pads. (Still unsure on ferodo ds2500 vs mintex 1144)

Am also getting a liquid gauge next month. And then I'll only be a few weeks away from my stage 2 map! January is go I g to be a good month as I'll have my fmic to for too!

Exciting!!

This evening I dropped the subframe, fitted new bushes, a big fat arb and new droplinls, tre's and ball joints.

Here is new vs old, 25mm vs 18mm!

And the bushes pressed into the arms.

Took it for a shakedown afterwards and I cannot believe the way it transformed the car. Well over the moon with it. And I can't wait to fit the rear 28mm arb!

So the 28mm rear arb and 2 new Michelin pilot sport 3's got fitted.

Its like driving a house fly on steroids. Apart from the budget tyres on the back. But even when it does slip its predictable and controllable!

Also got new cupra alloys fitted. Will get pictures once its cleaned. Black car & winter sucks!

No more mods now until my remap!

Close to 280bhp and around 300ft/lbs

I'm only limited by my internals now really!

My turbo is good for 330-350. With mods like wmi and a better flowing manifold.

My aim is for around 450bhp! But that'll take me a few months to achieve!

Okay so I lied about no more mods!!

So the last few evenings I have been fitting my rather large toyosports fmic.

Didnt manage to keep the fogs. But heyho, they were shit anyway!!

Also fitted my new steering wheel. Which i absolutley love!

Also got round to a Honda s2000 air filter. Which barely sits in the heatshield its so massive!

As well as a head unit, a boost gauge, some red hoses and renewed a few jubilee clips!

This time I really do promise no more mods!
