Gti6 brakes on front, drum on rear
#1
Would it be ok to fit the gti brakes up front and keep the drums on the rear? Or would this cause problems?

On a phase 1 dturbo

Thanks

Shouldn't be a problem at all.

Providing they are functional :p

way overkill really, new pads and discs in the standard calipers more than suffices, especially at the irish ride height :p

Hey my ride height is good Smile

I have a set already so I may use them now.

That's ok I was just wondering if it was bad to not upgrade the rear as well although my drum brakes seem ok

Thanks

fcuk all wrong with drums, they just get hotter and fade quicker than discs, being as braking on the back only accounts for about 20% of stopping because the weight of the car shifts onto the fronts i'd say it makes no difference . .Smile
