Lot of people put the hdi rods in the xud as abit of price if mind.
Out if interest why Is it running a lucas? So much tuning potential from the Bosch pump and it would go better with the bigger blower

What turbo is that, got any part numbers on it?
Yeah, hdi rods is a common mod if you're doing a power build on an xud. What's your plans for it next?

Defiantly get the Bosch on! Take a look at the tuning guides on here, so much gain! One fmic with a 12/15" fan will be plenty good enough

Hmm I'm not sure, with a Bosch and standard turbo I most make about 120ish bhp which isn't bad, with bigger turbos most vary between 150-190 and if your clever with vnt and it's control, there's a 208bhp zx on here
What turbo is it? Obviously a gt series but any idea what modal?

On my old car, I was running a Bosch pump with ground lda and gov mod, with a k14 it was making about 125-130bhp was pretty quick for stock stuff imo
On my new car I've got a Lucas pump and no idea what turbo, haven't been unde it yet, only had it a week lol.
I really want a gearbox mounted tdo4 not for big power, just for lols

If I had a welder I'd be doing it right now, td04s are really easy to come by, like padge said it's the one of the scooby that's popular. Make me up a manifold

The turbo is a GT2538c i think, as per this thread...: http://mail.306oc.co.uk/forum/thread-11264.html
Could be good, could be fairly mediocre, be interesting to see which. At least it'll be nice and easy to swap now it's gearbox mounted.

Interesting read and nice to see pics. Bit worrying, some kf the turbk questions...do lots of reading on here, inc bosch pumps and how turbos work, may help your project
Wow, be interesting to see what rpm that turbo spools at.
Don't see any ARP head studs though to hold the head on when it does blow?
You doing anything about stopping it too? Worrying to see drums on it

I am really not trying to be offensive...but whats your experience with cars in general if you don't know what 'spooling' means in regard to turbos
Hdi or Xsi or GTi rear beams all have discs, only slight changes in dampers/TBs.
What front brakes you running mate?
