Car Cutting Out
#1
Wondered if anyone could help me with this.

Got the car out the garage yesterday and left it running to warm up, after about 5 minutes it started idling between 500 and 1000 revs jumping up and down trying to keep itself running eventually sorted itself out

today i went out drove about 5 miles come to a junction engaged the clutch and the car cut out started straight up again however keeps doing it.

any help?

Yep ICV. Can clean them but generally it doesn't last long. Once they are shot, that it and unfortunately, the pattern ones are not much better. A Genuine one is about £80 but its honestly a false economy buying the cheaper copies as they won't last long at all!

Icv I reckon. A friend of mine had a similar problem and it was actually the power steering sensor.
