Stainless cat back exhaust for track days
#1
Is anyone running a stainless cat back exhaust system that isn't too load for track days. My standard gti exhaust is rotting between the centre pipe and back box. I want to put a stainless system on but need to stay below 92db.

I know there are a few to choose from but struggling to find out how load some of them actually are. My standard one measured at 79db at 3500rpm on the last track day.

Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like noise is not a problem if you get 87db with a mongoose and decat.

Longlife systems are made to order aren't they. A mate of mine had one on his MR2, said the quality was really good.
