Brake bleeding order
#1
Anyone? I've fitted my gti6 brakes today and having trouble with them. What is the bleeding order on a 306 with 4 wheel abs?

Furthest away from master cylinder, so N/S/R, O/S/R, N/S/F, O/S/F

This is how the Haynes says to do it but who believes that!

I thought it could be different as the ph3s have the abs pump and iirc there is a one way valve in there.

Nope. I would only be buying them for how they look. Also don't want to have to space the front wheels

Furthest from MC I was taught, always done it and no probs Smile. Niall how many miles since the last bleed, might be worth another quick one now the systems settled again Smile

Probs about 250.
It needs new pads. One of them is so f*cked its not even making complete contact with the disc. There's still some surface rust there lol

To me at that mileage, i'd have the car on the ramp and give it 1 quick bleed on all 4 calipers for piece of mind Smile. Then in your case I'd change the pads..so new pads and with freshly bleed brakes..Wink

Tbh I don't think there is air in there. I did have problems at first with that but it's all sorted now. Pedal feels good, just doesn't brake as well as it should haha

what the car or the front brakes don't feel like they should? would you need to change the MC because of the calipers ?
