Dturbo decat yes or no

Should I decat my 1.9 dturbo.
Is there much/any difference. And would this 94 pre cat down pipe replace my 98 down pipe with the cat in. http://www.eurocarparts.com/mobile/ecp/c...de1&000879

yes and yes . . . . . .extra 2bhp before you even start tuning and more after that . .
Phase 1 D-Turdo, K14@24 psi, De-cat, meaty backbox, Bosch pump, grinded LDA pin, duel air fed K&N =133.7bhp & 188ft/lbs

Yes. Less pressure after the turbo meaning it can spool up quicker. Can also clear out the exhaust, this is what my old one did on the first pull after putting a decat on

Remove your back box and put a length of piping on,. then remove the inners from your centre silencer

No need to remove anything from the centre box there is little restriction in it just adds more noise if you remove it no performance gains really
