Considering selling up. Have been thinking about getting rid after show season for a while now but tbh, the car is just an expense I don't really need.
Mechanically, the car is sound except for a bad ball joint which will be fixed at the weekend. It's been serviced every 8000 miles/6 months using genuine Peugeot parts. Had a Cambelt kit done 8000 miles ago.
Spec is as follows:
Bilstein B8 shocks with eibach springs
Meyle he wishbones
Rose jointed adjustable drop links
Ripp lower strut brace
oMP upper brace
Rear B4 shocks
Rx8 front seats
Blue s16 carpet
Custom plasma dials
Black roof lining
Ken wood Bluetooth iPod stereo
Focal VB speakers up front
Focal A1 speakers at the back
Boston acoustics amp
Some cheaply sub
Long life mid sport exhaust on a genuine working cat
Power flex bottom engine mount
Genuine Cibie blue masks.
The car will come with the Turinis if the price is right. These have good year eagle f1s all around with about 4mm of tread on them. If these arent wanted, the car will go on standard clones with T1Rs with about 4mm tread all round.
Maintenance really has been kept on top of and it's never gone without. All brakes are less than 5k old, top engine mount is new and rear beam mounts are under 10k old. These were genuine pug parts.
The car is on 78000 miles with full service history. When I say full, it has every receipt you can imagine. I have a box folder literally overflowing with paperwork! The car has 2 working keys and the key card (3rd key has been deprogrammed so a previous owner can't take it). Alarm is fully functioning as well. It has a years tax on it and 6 months mot. (Last passed first time with no advisories)
Bad bits. Few trolly dents here and there but nothing major. For a car of its age, it's in very good condition! Fairly large stone chip on the bonnet and one of the Turinis has a scratch on it.
You've all seen what it looks like. I don't have any recent pics of it on the Turinis so will get some tonight.
What sort of prices am I looking at?considering its a mint, genuine low mileage example, I was thinking around the £1500 mark. I have most of the original parts if they are wanted and for the right price, I'll chuck my Peugeot planet in the boot.

I know it's awful mate, but I'd really consider taking the shinies off it, putting stock bits back on and selling the bits separately. You'll never get much back selling as a whole.
That said, imo it's a bargain at £1500 with the 'winis...

Yeah I should of said, 1500 is without the Turinis. Would be after about 1700 all in with them (and th clones would come with as I would have no use).
Once I've made my mind up if its for sale, I will put it up for a few months as is then put it back to standard although I really can't be arsed. Tbh getting a bit fed up with cars at the moment.

Yeah, it's a pain to do, but worth it if you can spend a couple of weekends doing it. And it will enable you to sell the car for maybe £1400, with parts sales on top of that....
Having said that, I'm really really really tempted to keep mine as is, now it's relatively standard...

£1500 to some one but in reality gti6s are getting hard to sell now IMO. especially decent looked after ones. the £500 shit bags sell better because people that want them just want and shitter to rag for 6months then bin off . i really struggled to sell my old 6 last year. she was tidy with simular miles. little interest for 1 1/2 months then finaly went for £1400 yet all the old crap for 5-600 around it were selling quickish

Mate as above, £1500 for a relatively quick sale, al proper enthusiast might give £1800.
Problem is very few people want or can afford a 6 as a daily when for £2k you can get something newer faster and more economical which means most 6 buyers are only looking for a beater as a track car.

Sorry to see this go if it does. Its so hard to get good money for a 6 now and even harder for a quick sale.
Just at a glance you have £500 easily breakable bits off this then revert it back to standard and ebay it.Its a heart breaking thing to do but you will get you money quicker.
