Track time - FCS
#1
Thinking about booking a slot or two for FCS this year, is anyone else doing it?

And do I need to take anything for it?

Breakdown cover lol
Spare tyres, pads etc (depends how hard you wanna go)
Insurance would be wise

I have a slot but thinking of getting a 2 hour slot as the last few years in a 15min slot you only ge 2-3 laps as they always run over and from the ones before and shovel you off for the next slot

Licence i believe it also needed

Licence booth paper and card maybe another proof of id.booking reference
Helmet
To spare tryes though if you only out for to session u should be fine if you tryes have plenty of tread

I seriously wouldn't even bother with insurance, I guess u haven't see how much it is to claim!
Plus when peolpe have it they just have this mind set they can twat round the car without a care in the world for other drivers, potentially coursing great risk to others.

Just drive with in your limits

I'm on for a 2 hour open pit but hope they won't be people comming on even 15mins but I can see it being quite logical for them to do it.

Got a qoute from sky 84.20 for 1 day but with most track day insurance they is a very nice £1000 pound excuss good if you say you stack your 11 plate m3 and complete waste of money if you have a 306 Dodgy

Also sky will get track reports ask marshal s so if drive like a hero and stack it they won't pay a penny

So you would have to foot a bill of £1084.20 will get your car back to what it was before you had a accident on track.....

That because its not a legally required, its odd you could go round in a bus as long as you paid for the lap
