Well today I drove the car to work after a couple of days of some insane rain and didn't want to risk going through a flood again lmao did an oil and oil filter service on the gti and also had a look around underneath the pug, but nothing to bad just the odd scrape mark on the chassis rails, was also thinking about rasing the engine about 20 mm as I hit the subframe quite a few times and didn't want to hit the sump, does anyone no these exsist?

Either that or making a sump guard out of a road sign or some thing that I can kindly borrow with out asking ninja haven't heard anything on the wheels so still waiting for them to come into the country, once there hear I can think about what adaptors I'd need to get them to fit!
Also thinking about selling my backer be top mounts for some 205 comp brake ones, as that's what's stopping me going as low as Chris' s gti which he let's me no every time I see him how much lower his was Sad any how engine still running in and running as sweet as a nut!

Good to see it's all working. I haven't heard of any engine raising kits. Probably best to make a cheap and easy dump guard.

Cheers dude Smile Yeah I am thinking more along tile lines of a sump guard, I no the raiser kits do exsist but in Portugal trying to speak to someone about them and see how much they are and get them imported, then I can get my friends to make a few and sell them over here.

Before he stripped it was about 15mm lower than mine, found out it was due to the top mounts I have. Could just get a finger under his splitter

I have a metal sump guard. Genuine peugeot one as well. Dont think they sell these any more. I bought it last year for my V6 and it bolts to original sump guard points. I will hunt out a pic for you

well other day I had the gti in my work bay at the garage making sure the topmounts are ok as theres a weird sound coming from the o/s/f but haven't worked it out as of yet, found out one of my rose joint adjustable droplinks was knocking abit so tightened that up. as I was waiting for parts decided to clean the comps, big mistake! the powerdercoat is starting to fake off Sad so they'll have to get refubed soon and going back to silver as white is getting boring now, so went over the bodie work to see whats what and that came to the rear arches. the paint is flaking badley and I mean badley rubbed my hands over and it pulled at least 15com of paint off with out any pressure at all Sad so that needs respraying, ive cancelled the order of my new wheels as I found out yesterday that I can get my favourite wheels in 16's they are rare and only come in pcd 5x120 at et26 so going to talk to a guy who imports wheels and finds rare wheels and see if he can find some. also waiting on a reply from havair about 2 way air setup and when they can possibly do it as they have a 6 month waiting list at the moment which is no biggie Smile

any way I have a couple of pictures:

also picking up some challangers for winter next year which each wheel will be a different colour as ive been wanting todo it for along time now
