1.4/1.6's Eat gear box's for a pass time, Im pretty sure you will be replacing that pretty soon,

But yeah be prepared as it will go at some point, some on here have been know to change a gear box more than once on a 1.4

How much is a new gearbox? Confused

I wouldnt buy a new one, as said, go down scrappys and see if you can find a low millage box...

money spent now saves on future breakdown and more money/time to fit another...a tooth is not a good sign...

if your tooth fell out, would you wait till more fell out before going to the dentist to sort it! lol

love the car, it will love you back

Hello
Wasn't to bad, getting the gear-box out the way is probably the hardest bit. I got my Luk clutch for £68 online from Buy parts by, and got a new timing belt and brake pads as well. You should change it, makes all the difference to the drive!
