Well mole grips is the easiest way... Or a chisel from behind if possible.

Mole grips or a decent pair side cutters to hold it and lever it out. Its all luck of the draw whether they come out easy or are a complete pain.

In 50% of cases...
I find it easier to bend the arm...then you can get the box off... The arm/fork will then slide up enough to knock it out with a punch Wishes for more power...

205 arm will have an m7 thread on the end of the pin attach a slide hammer or wind it out with some spacers
406 pin is plain so just brute force and ignorance

I drilled a hole through the back of the gearbox webbing, enough to slide a thin piece of round steel stock though, hammered it out from behind. 5MM hole in the gearbox won't hurt it. took 2 minutes. Mine was not coming out from the front
