Crazy money. About £150 for the hero one. Margins on them are crap, youll find cheaper online.

Check out the new basic hero, being released on the 5th. Nice and basic, esentially just a hero 1 again. £100 retail.

Search sj4000 on eBay! Same as gopro, just as good quality, comes with load of accessories and only £70.
Look at the videos on YouTube.

Id seriously consider the sj4000. there's a video on YouTube eh the gopro and sj4000 side by side, there ain't much difference.

Done a lot of research, reviews and video watching on the SJ4000...seems a blinder of a camera for the money!
Around £60 on amazon with all the accesories and £50 on ebay(plus nectars!) for the same package.
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vie...71&alt=web
Only things it doesnt have is a suction mount, about £5 on ebay and a class10 high speed sd, about £10 on ebay for 32gb. I also want a telescopic hand held wand thingy...but again only about £5/6 on the bay.

Wife is buying me one as a prezzy for our January prezzy day! Well happy

And our wedding anniversary date was totally ruined by events two years ago. So we decided on Jan as a decent month for a prezzy day!

Yeah cool
Allows for January sales abuse too...sounds cheap but we both get the benefits of it!

Glad you agree, no need to pay stupid amounts for a gopro with this camera being so cheap.

Worst case if it does break, you buy another and your still saving money.
But it is a very good camera.

I just bought a brand new gopro hero (the basic one) from Argos for 99 pounds. Not sure when I'll get to use it yet but seems like a great camera for the money.
