Nah i don't think it is you know.
Assuming the engine is on the management it came with, thats late early 90s onwards but it could also be on standalone. So it narrows it down a bit

		Right, time for a clue?
Both the car (that your guessing to win for) and the engine (that you get rep for) are modern and mass market as in they sold in what would be considered big numbers and you will all of seen both on the roads and neither can be considered a classic (unless your mentally deranged)
(14-07-2014, 08:41 PM)toseland Wrote: definately not an avenger, servo is on the wrong side for a start and no space frame front Toseland your assuming its entirely OEM, nobody said the picture had to be OEM and I said I was going difficult and by my comments you should of guessed I thought there was a very good chance nobody would guess it.

The spaceframe and the engine aren't standard fitment. The bulkhead and master cylinder/res/servo are standard though. This is why you get actual rep for the engine.

Im leaning towards an MG or Talbot but with a different engine in it
Again your wrong but very much liking your train of thought

Well spotted, it is RWD however is it just the connectors that make it look modern or could it be a modern aftermarket ECU?

		Bravo Cully and Ruan!!!
Cully its your go to post a photo as I'll take that as a right answer and rep for being closeenough on the engine and Ruan you can have some rep for managing to even work out where I'd taken the photo.

Heres a couple more of her.

Hate it when they ruin a classic by using it's name again, it should be a mericorsa.

I thought it was a Datsun 120y, but don't think it is tbh - at least from googling doesn't look like they did that style bumper.
Looks like it's a front hinged bonnet to me - which may narrow it down?

It's that indicator that's got me - curved around which is pretty distinctive but the flared arches which makes me think Ford...
