lol...just for the record the car was being used as a dummy for my homemade towbar

I have a seal for the top of the pump to fit and have a look at the idle spring too.

Craigus dropped off some brakes and a battery for it the other day

Good man fish!! I owe you big time. Not long till I'm back on the road few weeks

So the car had a stupidly low idle when cold, and also leaked around the pump. I haven’t had the need to move the car for the last couple weeks so when I went to start it, it had let its diesel back and aired the system right up.

So flattened the battery to attempt to drag its fuel up with some pumps from the grenade, to no avail though.

Anyway, hung a rope to it and dragged it 10 foot and she fired. Ideal.

Darren was passing and I managed to coax him into giving the pump the quick once over. Put a fresh seal in for the top of the pump and double checked the governor setup was correct.

All seems good now, just wants a little tweak on the max fuel





Engine needs a good pressure washing, I believe Connor is going to have the car back soon and give it a much needed polish and hopefully sort his ream beam.
