pug 306 1.8

hi got a pug 306 1.8 , 16 valve and when you start from cold it will not tickover , but if you drive for about 10 mins it will tickover , have sprayed icv with carb cleaner and blew it out but still same , also is 1.8 icv same as 1.4 thanks

ICV has probably had it. Im not 100% sure if they are the same but i know the 1.8 one is the same as the 16v xsi

Pretty sure they aren't the same. I remember trying to swap a 1.4 one onto the 1.8 and it not working/fitting for some reason. Cant exactly why though!

The MAP sensor is the same on the 1.4 and 1.8. I think the ICV is possibly different. Just try it and see.

The ICV will be the same, its just the housing between it, and the manifold, that differs slightly. They are interchangeable though, so no biggy.

Not always. The GTi one is different to the 1.8 and 2.0 one.

Screw mounting points are different. One of them has the tabs for the screws offset. Think its the GTi one.
