pug 306 1.8 - octoman - 31-03-2014 hi got a pug 306 1.8 , 16 valve and when you start from cold it will not tickover , but if you drive for about 10 mins it will tickover , have sprayed icv with carb cleaner and blew it out but still same , also is 1.8 icv same as 1.4 thanks RE: pug 306 1.8 - Niall - 02-04-2014 ICV has probably had it. Im not 100% sure if they are the same but i know the 1.8 one is the same as the 16v xsi RE: pug 306 1.8 - Toms306 - 02-04-2014 Pretty sure they aren't the same. I remember trying to swap a 1.4 one onto the 1.8 and it not working/fitting for some reason. Cant exactly why though! RE: pug 306 1.8 - Eeyore - 02-04-2014 The MAP sensor is the same on the 1.4 and 1.8. I think the ICV is possibly different. Just try it and see. They are interchangeable though, so no biggy. RE: pug 306 1.8 - Niall - 03-04-2014 Screw mounting points are different. One of them has the tabs for the screws offset. Think its the GTi one. RE: pug 306 1.8 - Grant - 03-04-2014 Ah yeah, fair point. |
