		I'm guessing that the new fob is for the older IR (Phase 2) setup whereas yours is the newer RF (Phase 3) setup.

		My ph3 RF PCB sits very happily in a PH2 IR plastic housing, just looks a bit stupid and that's how it came with the car so....

		You cant buy RF fobs seperatley,  you can buy the IR ones seperatley and they come in 2 thicknesses 14mm and 18mm
