Good work indeed.. if I was to get a track toy it would most probably be one of these with a turbo strapped to it.

Tks Jake. Well, a turbocharged TU will not be the best option for a trackday car.. My personal opinion is N\A atw! Nothing beats that!

Top turbo build vs top N\A build..

I'll choose the N\A.. But that just me! It's all a matter of personal choise! Can't argue that you get better power figures with a turbo build. But is not all about power! =)

yeah chap...you done all that work on internals and not boosted it!
standard internals happily make double stock power with a blower...this could be really epic with a lil snail!

Well, everything was made considering it to be NA. Boosting it, at this point, would envolve changing pistons, camshafts.. Not the way I want to go. It's a matter of personal choice as I said before.

It was making 165bhp with the old engine. This one is not finished yet. But expect around 175bhp.

Nice, you had it mapped to rev any higher with the stronger pistons and cams?
I've got a jp4 with supersprint exhaust and pugsport manifold and unsure on what cams, got any pics of the bay?

The first remap that was made, the rev limiter was set on 8.500rpm. The plan is stick with that limit, but depends on the engine.. The power figures and that stuff
The previous cams were from Pipercams, the BP300h. Now I bought from Catcams, the 737. Not shure about those... We'll see how they work.
Not finished yet mate...
