A mate of mine has a hdi 306 and he maintains it's a 110bhp engine
although I've never seen the engine I don't know whether it actually is
Can the engines be swapped handy enough or what?

Its balls mate, all 2.0 hdi 306s are 90bhp, probs just making it up. If it was a 110 hdi it would be intercooled as standard

Please tell me someone's actually gone to the effort to swap in the engine from a 406 110, that'd be the best thing ever, right?!

My ex had the 110gtx and it wasn't exciting to drive as its a motorway not a b-road car like the 306

My old man had a 406 HDI 110, pulled well enough. Went pretty well once it was mapped.

But I digress, as said, just a 306 HDI/406 HDI 90 engine with an intercooler and a different map.

But it's just a different map, and they didn't fit them to the 306
